SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: 'Get Ready for Tryouts' workshop to be held Friday, July 27th at Andrews Osborne Academy.

It's almost August and you know what that means....tryouts are right around the corner!  UBV will be hosting our 'Get Ready for Tryouts' workshop on July 27th to help your athlete prepare to perform at their best. Join our summer college players and Utopia coaches at one of the following:

  • Athletes entering 7th-11th grades - 9:00AM-1:00PM - $30/player

  • Athletes entering 4th-6th grades - Volley Lite Clinic - 2:00PM-5:00PM - $25/player

All clinics will cover passing, hitting, setting, serving, defense, along with open play. Come ready to work hard and have fun, all while meeting new friends!

Dear Parents, Athletes, and Coaches,

We are excited to announce our lineup of Summer 2018 programs. Can you believe warmer weather is right around the corner?!

The Utopia summer programming will combine Speed and Strength Conditioning with Frank Desico from Ohio Sports and Fitness and a series of skills open gyms at Andrews Osborne Academy with our Utopia coaching staff and two college players, Rachel Raimondo and Ambre Pierce. All sessions will be held from 10:00AM-12:00PM and begin Tuesday, June 12th. Each session is $15 and will run on Tuesdays (Middle School players)), Thursdays (Middle School players) , and Saturdays (High School & Middle School Players)  for 7 weeks. The session will include the following: 

  • Proper techniques on jumping and landing during play
  • Leg strength, shoulder, and hip focused workouts
  • Core building as a foundation to athletic output
  • Coordinated drills using our state-of-the-art Aircat and AcuSpike
  • Open play and scrimmages

This program will address every athletes needs as individualized as possible to help them personally perform better, but also ensure they are more fit to handle matches, games, and tournament lengths. The goal is to provide workouts, drills, and techniques to allow each player with the best understanding of why what we are doing is important.
